UTSA Lyric Theatre is led by Dr. William McCrary and Dr. Jourdan Laine Howell with support from conductors: Asieh Mahyar (UTSA Orchestra), Dr. Kumiko Shimizu (Vocal Coach), pianists Anna Hakobyan, Jane Haas, and Geoffrey Waite. and choreographer Michelle Pietri. A key component of our success is the dedicated Voice Area Faculty who train our vocalists for auditions and for their earned roles: Dr. Lydia Beasley, Prof. Crystal Jarrell Johnson, and Prof. John Nix.
